SARE

Smart Agriculture for Resource Efficiency

The SARE project is designed to equip agriculture professionals, including farmers, trainers, and stakeholders, with essential digital and green skills to modernise and sustain agricultural practices.

About

The Project

Through a well-structured training program, SARE provides participants with advanced digital tools and methodologies, enabling them to leverage smart agriculture technologies, such as data analysis, sensor-based monitoring, and precision farming.

Additionally, the project emphasises environmental sustainability, focusing on resource efficiency, reducing waste, and minimising the environmental impact of farming. By aligning with key EU policies, such as the European Green Deal, Farm to Fork Strategy, and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), SARE contributes to the broader goal of fostering a resilient, competitive, and sustainable agricultural sector.

SARE Focus Groups with Experts

On 4 July 2025 , partners from Poland, Cyprus, and Malta came together for an online Focus Group under Activity 2 of the Erasmus+ project Smart Agriculture for Resource Efficiency (SARE) . The half-day event, hosted by the European Institute for Emerging Technologies (EIET) , brought together nine experts from the three partner countries to refine the development of the SARE training content, focusing on sustainable farming practices , resource efficiency , and smart agriculture.
